    近地小行星(Near-Earth Asteroids, NEAs)对全球安全构成威胁已成共识, 对其探测具有重大意义. 多应用巡天望远镜阵(Multi-Application Survey Telescope Array, MASTA)具有的大视场、多望远镜、较大口径等特点非常契合小行星探测的需求, 它的加入可显著提升我国的近地小行星探测能力. 为发挥MASTA的近地小行星探测优势, 提出了一种近地天体巡天策略, 并基于整数线性规划方法, 提出了巡天规划模型. 为评估该模型的表现以及在此模型下MASTA的近地小行星探测效能, 通过扩充样本建立了观测目标集, 并进行了一年的近地天体巡天仿真. 仿真结果表明: 巡天规划模型能够较好地满足MASTA近地天体巡天的需求; 能够优化近地天体巡天项目的观测资源配置, 兼顾MASTA的其他科学目标; MASTA一年探测的近地小行星数量可达其预估样本的1.29%.

    Abstract:

    It has become a consensus that near-Earth asteroids (NEAs) threaten global security, thus the detection of them is of great significance. The Multi-Application Survey Telescope Array (MASTA) features a large field of view, multiple telescopes, and a large aperture. It is fully suitable for the needs of asteroid detection. Its addition can significantly improve domestic capabilities of detecting near-Earth asteroids. In order to give full play to MASTA's advantages in detecting near-Earth asteroids, a survey strategy is proposed, and a survey planning model is built based on the integer linear programming model. To evaluate the performance of this model and the near-Earth asteroid detection efficiency of MASTA under this model, a set of simulated asteroids is created by expanding the known near-Earth asteroid samples, and a one-year near-Earth object survey simulation is conducted. Simulation results show that the survey planning model can well meet the needs of MASTA's near-Earth object survey; it can optimize the observation resource allocation of near-Earth object survey and take into account MASTA's other scientific goals; the number of near-Earth asteroids detected by MASTA in a year can reach 1.29% of its estimated sample size.
