    激变变星(Cataclysmic Variables, CV)的典型特性是其存在3种周期振荡现象, 周期振荡指准周期性的光度快速变化. 按光变时标由短到长, CV的周期振荡可分为矮新星振荡、长周期矮新星振荡和准周期振荡. 对3种不同振荡在观测上的特征以及在不同亚型CV中的表现进行了介绍, 并阐述了可能产生3种周期振荡的物理机制. 这些振荡现象为人们研究白矮星的吸积和几何提供了丰富的信息和线索.

    Abstract:

    The typical characteristics of cataclysmic variables (CVs) are three types of periodic oscillations, referring to the rapid quasi-periodic changes of luminosity. With the different time scales and coherences, there are dwarf nova oscillations (DNOs), quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs), and longer period dwarf nova oscillations (lpDNOs). A general description of the characteristics and observational features of the three types of periodic oscillations can be found in this paper. The presence of quasi-periodic variations in the light curves may provide abundant information and clues for the study of white dwarf accretion. QPOs are the prominent oscillation type of magnetic CVs, so it is speculated that the origin may be related to magnetic field. Because of the short time scale of DNOs and lpDNOs, they are considered to originate from white dwarf itself. In addition to optical, three types of oscillations can also be observed in X-ray and ultraviolet. The data observations of different wavelengths are helpful to understand the formation of these oscillations more comprehensively.
